We understand the distress of patients fearing dental treatment and have developed a specialized technical structure to offer them a pain-free, stress-free experience. With intravenous dental sedation, ranging from narco-hypnosis to general anesthesia, we guarantee pain-free dental care. These procedures are carried out by an expert team of anesthesiologists in the practice.
Our philosophy is to remain at the cutting edge of medical advances, combining new technologies with patient comfort and safety. Semi-conscious sedation techniques, administered by an anesthesiologist, surpass the effectiveness of MEOPA, a conscious sedation technique often used for those who simply fear injections. Nevertheless, MEOPA is available in our practice.
More advanced sedations, such as narco-hypnosis, plunge patients into a deeply relaxing state of sleep, allowing them to remain totally unaware of the treatment being carried out. These procedures require appropriate anesthesia and resuscitation equipment, which is always available in an emergency.
We have taken the initiative to anticipate standards: our anaesthesia equipment is managed by a dedicated intensive care anaesthetist, ensuring the complete independence of our technical platforms. The practice is equipped to respond to emergency situations, with a defibrillator and resuscitation equipment that complies with clinic operating theater standards.
With the development of digital technology, the equipment in our dental practice is state-of-the-art. Advances in computer technology, 3D imaging and intraoral digital impressions have replaced traditional equipment. A group of specialist doctors surround Dr. Jérôme Weinman, helping to treat all patients, even the most medically complex.
In compliance with the asepsis, hygiene and safety regulations laid down by the Federal and Cantonal Medical Officers, we adhere to the strictest sterilization standards. Since the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020, we have stepped up these measures and introduced video consultations via platforms such as Doctolib, Doctena and Onedoc. These video appointments offer a secure solution for those who are afraid to travel, while avoiding any potential contact with a Covid-19-infected person.
